Baker Mayfield recalls first meeting with Oklahoma WR Marquise ‘Hollywood&rsquo...

Don’t be surprised if Baker Mayfield treats a teammate to a “double double” at In-N-Out Burger when Oklahoma football heads to Pasadena, Calif. for the Rose Bowl in less than a month.

The Heisman-winning Sooners quarterback recalled on Thursday the first time that he met sophomore wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. The receiver from Hollywood, Fla. hauled in 981 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns during his first regular-season played with the Sooners.

Of course, Brown isn’t the largest player on the field for Oklahoma — checking in at just 5-foot-11 and 162-pounds.

Mayfield told reporters on Thursday that the first thought in his mind after initially meeting Brown was that the wide receiver “needs to eat a double cheeseburger or two.”

What was Mayfield’s first thought when he met Marquise Brown?
“He needs to eat a double cheeseburger. Or two”

— Brooke Pryor (@bepryor) December 14, 2017

Regardless of Brown’s diet, the bottom line is that he made a splash for the Sooners this season. Brown caught 2 touchdowns in Oklahoma’s 62-52 victory over Oklahoma State on Nov. 4 — one on an 84-yard pass from Mayfield.

Oklahoma will return to the football field vs. Georgia on New Year’s Day 2018 for the College Football Playoff semifinals at the Rose Bowl. For now, Brown has plenty of time to sneak a “double cheeseburger or two” into his eating habits.
