Michigan’s Chase Winovich, Wolverines raise $125,000 for ChadTough...

Michigan football’s Chase Winovich and other Wolverines continue to hit new milestones in their fundraising effort.

On Christmas afternoon on Monday, Winovich tweeted that more than $125,000 has been raised. Winovich said the goal had been $15,000.

“I started this challenge with the hope of raising $15,000 in about 10 days,” Winovich wrote. “As a community of people taking a stand against DIPG and childhood cancer, we have went above and beyond that. Thank you to everyone that has made this Christmas the most special!”

Winovich said last week that he would dye his hair orange for the Outback Bowl if he helped raise $15,000. Maurice Hurst also joined, saying he would dye his hair if $73,000 was raised. Grant Newsome, Devin Bush and DC Don Brown also pledged.

It is with my great honor that I welcome our Defensive Coordinator, Coach Don Brown to the fight against DIPG! And at $125,000, he will be dyeing his legendary mustache orange! Donation link in bio! #chadtough pic.twitter.com/wn4pfS3Pjz
